Suicide Squad: Joe Manganiello Squashes Rumors
Was Joe Manganiello replaced for the role of Deathstroke in the upcoming Suicide Squad film? The actor recently addressed all the rumors surrounding his involvement with the film on twitter.

So there you have it. Joe Manganiello wasn’t replaced in Suicide Squad because he never even signed on to the movie. There was a character he was in talks to maybe play, but it wasn’t Deathstroke, and the deal never happened in the first place. Too bad, as Joe Magnaneillo seems like the perfect guy to be movie Deathstroke (because sadly they won’t use Manu Bennett, who has been awesome as Deathstroke on the TV show Arrow).
So does this mean that Jim Parrack is Deathstroke? Hard to say, nothing has been confirmed beyond him being that cast photo that surfaced yesterday. He is clearly in the film, but at this point it’s not 100% that Deathstroke is even in the movie. Hopefully we’ll know more in the coming weeks. Suicide Squad opens in theaters August 5th, 2016.
