It’s still the first week in May. You know what’s not right around the corner? New York Comic Con, because it doesn’t take place until October 8-11.

Of course, tickets go on sale next week, and media registration is already open, so it is indeed time to start gearing up for NYCC 2015. And since people like to know who they can look forward to seeing at the largest comic and pop culture convention in North America (sorry, San Diego, but it’s true!), ReedPOP has announced the first batch of confirmed guests.
Names who should be familiar to American comics fans include writer Charles Soule and artists Adam Hughes, Amy Reeder and Allison Sohn (who by the way, is Hughes’ wife). There’s also a prominent guest from the world of manga and anime, as Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto will be at the show on Thursday and Saturday. He’ll be making his first international convention appearance, and will take part in multiple panels and autograph signing sessions.
This is merely the tip of what will undoubtedly be a very large iceberg of guests, one you can watch grow on the New York Comic Con website. Don’t forget that online ticket sales begin on May 13. Grab one and we’ll hopefully see you there in October!
