This won’t be the first time Disney has used one of its theme parks to promote an upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film, but it sounds like it could be the coolest such example so far. Beginning on June 19, you’ll be able to visit the Bug’s Life Theater at Disney California Adventure and see what selected scenes from Ant-Man in 3D.

Furthermore, Disney is touting “in-theater effects that can only be experienced at Disney Parks.” If you’ve ever seen the attraction that is usually in the theater, “It’s Tough to Be a Bug,” you know that the seats are gimmicked so that you can actually feel effects coordinated to what’s happening on the screen. How will that work with Ant-Man? I wouldn’t hazard a guess until I’ve seen the movie myself, but it’s definitely a cool idea.
Marvel is also showing off the Ant-Man costume at the Bug’s Life Theater. No word on whether or not you can douse it in Pym particles and see it shrink down.
This is being described as a limited time experience, so if you’re headed to Disneyland over the next month and a half, you’ll want to take advantage of it while you’re there. Ant-Man makes its way to regular theaters on July 17.
