Who Will Be Spider-Man After Secret Wars? Could Be Three Men …
By Nick Tylwalk
When it comes to the “All-New, All-Different” part of the Marvel Universe after Secret Wars, we’ve already learned a few fascinating snippets. There will be a new Hulk, a new Wolverine and familiar characters on different teams. Sam Wilson and Jane Foster are likely to still be Captain America and Thor, respectively, and they’re still fresh enough in those roles to qualify as new.

Marvel has also been teasing a new Spider-Man, but unlike those previous examples, this mystery hero looks like he’ll exist alongside Peter Parker — and maybe Miles Morales, too. Three Spider-Men? Let’s dig into this.
A recent article at Mashable has Marvel EIC Axel Alonso speaking about the new Spider-Man.
"Will there be enough room for him and Peter Parker? Read and find out."
So we’ll have at least two Spideys. It’s possible that Alonso is just talking about Miles Morales existing in the new, post-Secret Wars universe since he won’t have a home world of his own any more (at least, we assume that’s the case). But Miles has been around for a while now and has a decent-sized fan following of his own. I’m not sure he qualifies as “new” by any definition I’d use.
Here’s another Alonso quote that Bleeding Cool dug up that hints at three Spider-Men:
"The same people who went crazy with female Thor will have a field day with this one and a new Spider-Man – as well as Peter Parker and Miles Morales? Could he be one of the Spider-Verse characters?"
I don’t know about you, but that makes me think Peter, Miles and someone else will all be calling themselves Spider-Man after the event is over. That sounds great for Spidey fans, but could get a bit confusing for the denizens of the Marvel Universe. At least J. Jonah Jameson will have multiple targets for his wrath …
