Wondering what exactly the plot of Batman v Superman is? What could bring the two of the mightiest heroes of the DC Universe to blows and involve in at least some form most of the Justice League? Well, we have the official synopsis for you.

At the Las Vegas Licensing Expo 2015. Warner Bros. released their official synopsis for Batman v Superman:
"Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before."
Well it gives us sort of an idea, but of course the goal of a synopsis is to give us an idea without spoiling the whole story. We have a rough idea why they are fighting and that of course there is a bigger danger lurking. This does contradict some earlier rumors that Superman was being sent to take down Batman in order to get brownie points with the government. Hopefully we’ll learn at little more at this year’s San Diego Comic Con where DC movies will pretty much have the show to themselves. Batman v Superman opens in theaters March 25th 2016.
