Is This The Synopsis For Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice?
By Nick Tylwalk
Collider says it has the official synopsis for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It delves into a little bit about the themes on display in the initial trailer, while also setting up a classic “heroes fight, then patch things up to take on the real bad guy” scenario that has been a staple of super hero comics for decades.
Take a look:
"Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before."
I don’t often say complimentary things about Man of Steel, but if this is indeed the synopsis for Batman v Superman, perhaps all that wanton destruction in the final battle between Superman and Zod served a purpose after all, setting up the attitude of Batman (and presumably, some of the citizens of the movie world) in the new movie.
Also, if there really is a “new threat,” it follows that whatever that might be would be the catalyst behind other super heroes showing up — including Wonder Woman, who is said to have a fairly sizable role.

It’s certainly a tantalizing time for fans of the biggest DC heroes, but the floodgates of info should be opening soon, particularly since Warner Bros. and its merchandising partners are about to show off some product at the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives in theaters on March 26, 2016.
