Legends Of Tomorrow: Ciara Renee Shows Hawkgirl Preparation

With only a few months to go before the fall television season arrives, The CW and the cast of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow have their work cut out for them.  Today, via Instagram, actress Ciara Renée who plays Kendra Saunders, a.k.a. Hawkgirl, shared with fans her arduous preparation for the heroic role.  As you can see from the following pics and video, Ms. Renée is working hard to get her Hawkgirl flight mechanics right and is also getting some motion capture work done.  However, the most interesting image is the one with her in the make-up chair where she’s being custom fitted for her Hawkgirl helmet.

It was only a month ago that The CW debuted their first Legends of Tomorrow trailer.  With its mix of conflicted and compelling characters, stunning visual effects, and high-octane action, the 3-minute 53-second trailer certainly whet fans’ appetites for a new superhero team-up series.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is set to debut in the fall of 2015 on The CW, and will star Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein / Firestorm, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer / The Atom, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance / White Canary, Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Ciara Renée as Kendra Saunders / Hawkgirl, Franz Drameh as Jay Jackson, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory / Heat Wave, and Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart / Captain Cold.
