Fans who’ve been clamoring to see Anna Paquin’s Rogue restored to X-Men: Days of Future Past might have to wait until mid-July to own the new cut of the hit film, but anyone heading to Comic-Con International will be able to see it a few days sooner.

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is holding a special advance screening of X-Men: Days of Future Past Rogue Cut during SDCC 2015, showing it on four screens at Reading Cinema – Gaslight District at 8 pm on Saturday, July 11. Interested fans can get two VIP tickets (which guarantee access to the screening) by buying the Blu-ray of the film at either the Fox booth on the Comic-Con floor (#4229) or the Nerd HQ/IGN Lounge at the Children’s Museum. Anyone buying the Blu-ray at SDCC will also receive a limited edition lithograph celebrating the X-Men movie franchise.
Fox is saying that “additional seating will be available to fans on a first-come, first-served basis,” so while you might be able to score a ticket without making a purchase, there’s no guarantee. So it all depends how much you love Rogue (or Paquin, naturally), though if you’re going to buy the Blu-ray anyway and you’re going to be in San Diego, this seems like the way to go.
For the rest of us, we’ll have to wait until July 14, when X-Men: Days of Future Past Rogue Cut hits stores everywhere on Blu-ray, DVD and digital HD.
