October Premiere Dates Announced For Arrow, The Flash
By Nick Tylwalk
Labor Day is late this year, meaning the fall TV season isn’t kicking off quite as early as it sometimes does. For fans of Arrow and The Flash, that means no new episodes until after September comes and goes.

The CW announced the exact return dates for both super hero series earlier today. The Flash will speed back to begin its second season on Tuesday, October 6 at 8 pm. It will be followed once again by iZombie, giving Tuesday nights on the network an all-DC flair.
Arrow, meanwhile, will start Season 4 on Wednesday, October 7, also at 8 pm. We’ll assume for the sake of argument that the godfather of current comic book shows will give Oliver Queen a reason to return to fighting crime in Starling City and not just have him live happily ever after with Felicity Smoak, or at least not yet.
If that’s enough super hero action for you, those series will be joined at some point during the 2015-16 season by DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, the spinoff show featuring characters from Arrow and The Flash plus newcomers like Hawkgirl and Rip Hunter. No info has yet been given on when it might debut, and it’s possible that The CW is waiting to see if one of its fall dramas falters before scheduling it.
