Superheroes are part of a new pop culture exhibit at the Louisville Slugger Museum, including some of the most famous ones like Batman & Superman. This new exhibit is specifically designed to help attract a non-baseball fan audience to the Louisville Slugger Museum. The only tie the exhibit really has to baseball is that the exhibit is themed on Topps trading cards, which of course are primarily a baseball thing, but Topps has done other sorts of trading cards as well. Check out this video below to get a good idea of what the exhibit at the Louisville Slugger Museum is like:
It may seem weird to baseball fans, but as someone who does not care about baseball and loathed museums as a kid, probably one of the few ways to get me to a museum as a kid would’ve been to tell me they have something like this where I could check out memorabilia of my favorite superheros.
