Lots of New Batman v Superman Details!
So you’ve probably already seen the cool new pics of Batman v Superman we posted earlier today. But now, we also have a lot of new story details for Batman v Superman as well.

In a new Entertainment Weekly article, it’s confirmed that Batman’s supersuit that he uses to take on the Son of Krypton in Batman v Superman is indeed lined with Kryptonite, which has been rumored before. Also, Batman and Wonder Woman know each other’s secret identities, which Ben Affleck talks about when referring to the scene in our featured pic:
"I love the fact that there was this Thomas Crowne Affair, Bond-y sexy scene that they wrote about two people who are pretending to be two different people who each know the secrets of the other person."
In another EW article, they note that the Batman in Batman v Superman is an older Batman than the one we’ve seen in the Christopher Nolan movies, one that Affleck mentions is “At the end of his run and maybe the end of his life. There’s this sort of world-weariness to it.”.
I’m sort of torn on this older Batman approach, because even assuming it works, it already seems set up for another Batman just a few years down the line. I mean after Batman v Superman, Justice League & the solo Batman movie in production, we will be seeing a new Batman just a few years later because Affleck is done with the role? Batman is DC’s most popular character, so I doubt he’d be absent from the big screen for too long. I guess we won’t really know til the DC movie universe is up and running at full speed though. Batman v Superman opens in theaters March 25th.
