The DC movie universe rally kicks off next March with Batman v Superman. The big hero team up will come in the two-part Justice League movie releasing in 2017. Though that’s a ways off, apparently the script is already finished.

In the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, Chris Terrio (who also might be writing the upcoming Batman solo film that Ben Affleck is rumored to direct) says the script for both part one & two of Justice League was completed, noting that both he and director Zack Snyder stayed locked in a room piled high with Diet Coke to help them keep alert while they pounded out the script for both parts of Justice League.
Of course, while having a finished script well in advance of shooting is good, there’s still plenty of time for re-writes between now and when the first part of Justice League releases in 2017. Heck, they may even add or re-shootscenes in-between each part if it became necessary for some reason. It’ll be interesting if we ever find out how close the final product is to the original script.
