Comic-Con 2015: The Flash Gets A Suit Update
By Steve Lam
To any normal person, this little change would probably go unnoticed. However, for fans of Barry Allen / The Flash — like my editor Nick Tylwalk — this “little” change is actually a big deal. Via JoBlo’s Twitter feed, we have images of the costumes used in The CW’s The Flash. If you would be so kind as to notice the chest emblem on The Flash’s suit, you’ll notice that it now has a white circular background — which makes it look just like the comics.
ComingSoon.net also provided an image of the emblem from another angle.
Does it even need to asked as to who made the emblem change? We all know it’s Cisco. As the biggest fanboy, he was the one who first suggested that Barry use a white circular background. This new emblem was actually first seen on future newspaper articles accessed by Dr. Harrison Wells who we now know to have been Eobard Thawne. That future version of The Flash also wears a suit that has brighter red hue.
The CW’s The Flash completed a successful first season and Season 2 is on the way. And it was recently announced that Season 2 of The Flash would premiere on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 8:00PM EST on The CW.
