SDCC 2015: First Suicide Squad Footage!
A new Batman v Superman trailer wasn’t the only big surprise Warner Bros. had at this year’s San Diego Comic Con. They also gave us our first real taste of next year’s Suicide Squad movie with some official footage!

We’ve being set photos and shoddily filmed amateur video from the Suicide Squad set for weeks, but this sizzle reel gives us the first real idea of what we’ll be seeing on the big screen next year. We see our first footage of Viola Davis as Amanda Waller and yes we get to hear Jared Leto as the Joker, and I think he sounds pretty good, even if I’m not the biggest fan of his look:
Update: Sorry everybody, Warner Bros. Seems to be quick with the hammer on people posting videos. Hopefully we’ll get an official release soon or something. This seems to be all the footage they will allow for the time being:

Hopefully a full HD version of the footage will pop up online soon, but this will have to do for now. I must say I’m far more optimistic and pumped for Suicide Squad than I am Batman v Superman at this point. Suicide Squad opens in theaters August 5th, 2016.
