SDCC 2015: Spider-Man and Deadpool to team up in new comic book!
By Daniel Wood
That’s right Spider-Fans, Spider-Man and Deadpool will be starring in their own comic book after Secret Wars and it’s possibly going to be the best comic book ever. And to think I was getting all excited about seeing the two together in the All-New, All-Different Uncanny Avengers

The announcement was made at none other than Comic-Con, which is pretty much the go-to place for news, or the ‘holy grail’ of geek related information. It’s kind of crazy that in a week full of awesome Suicide Squad and X-Men: Apocalypse trailers it’s a comic book featuring two people in lycra suits that has got me the most excited.
The comic which will be titled ‘Spider-Man/Deadpool’ will hit stores this fall and adds to the ever growing list of Spidey titles. It will be written by writer Joe Kelly and providing art is Ed McGuinness. What’s important about those two is that they previously wrote a popular nine issue run that helped propel Deadpool to cult status, so they know what they’re doing.
The comic will see the two wise-cracking heroes teaming up, whilst highlighting the tension between the two. Obviously Deadpool, like everyone in the world, loves Spider-Man and Spider-Man hates Deadpool! There’s also a massive surprise billed for the final page of the first issue
Yeah, I’m excited!
