Bruce Campbell & Lucy Lawless Weigh In On Batman v Superman
Old pals Bruce Campbell and Lucy Lawless are teaming up again in the new Starz series Ash vs. Evil Dead. But for some reason, both stars felt the need to weigh in on the whole Batman v Superman debate.

Frankly, Bruce Campbell had the more realistic opinion that Batman’s odds against Superman in Batman v Superman are slim to say the least:
"Batman fighting Superman? To me that’s, sorry Warner Bros., it’s just a mistake. Because most fans are going to go, “Baloney, Superman, in his sleep”"
But Batman is wearing a special suit!
"Well he’s gonna need it — he’s fighting Superman! His face is exposed. Punch Ben Affleck in the face, you’re done. Walk away. What’s for lunch?"
But it’s lined with Kryptonite!
"Hey, nice try. I’m not buying what they’re selling. Because OK, Kryptonite, well, who’s carrying around Kryptonite? Only Lex Luthor. Batman’s suit is made out of Kryptonite?… What a crock. Where’s he gonna get it, on the Internet?"
It’s at this point Lawless mentions that you can get pretty much anything on the internet. Like “Kryptonite Underpants!”
But hey they aren’t wrong, on the surface of it, Batman fighting Superman is pretty silly. But then this is also a movie about a super-powered alien fighting a billionaire vigilante, so I’d say believing Batman has a shot against Superman isn’t completely out of line. Batman v Superman opens March 25th & Ash vs Evil Dead premiers on Starz October 31st.
