Someone Recreated One Of The Ant-Man Trailers In Lego
By Nick Tylwalk
This kind of thing is getting so common every time a super hero movie releases these days that we should really set up some kind of YouTube alert for it or something. Still, you have to admire the work of Toscano Bricks on this one. It’s a shot-for-shot recreation of one of the Ant-Man trailers, done with an attention to detail that you just don’t see every day.

My personal favorite bits include Lego ants crawling toward the Marvel logo, Hank Pym watching Scott Lang on apparently functional monitors, and pretty much all of the facial expressions — but particularly the sneering brick version of Darren Cross. There’s also a bit of Inception in that final scene that has Ant-Man and Yellowjacket facing off on the Thomas & Friends train layout. It’s a scene of toys, but made out of different toys. Mind = blown!
This isn’t the first Marvel rodeo for Toscano Bricks, as you’ll find he’s already done similar work for Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and … Fifty Shades of Grey? I’ve got the feeling that one might give me nightmares. In any case, kudos on a job well done with Ant-Man, and we’ll be waiting to see what you can do with Captain America: Civil War when those trailers start arriving later this year.
