‘Batman: Arkham Knight’ Ripoff
By Skip Harvey
Man, oh, man. Sometimes it feels like the glitches, bugs, and errors in the last installment of Batman: Arkham Knight won’t stop piling up. The latest dust up in the much maligned game has to do with the Asian release for the PS4, where it looks like something’s missing.
According to one player’s account, the Batman: Arkham Knight PlayStation 4 Bundle and the Batman: Arkham Knight Steelbook Edition advertised the inclusion of exclusive skins Classic TV series Batman, and Justice League 3000 Batman, which he purchased.
"I bought the steelbox set which included includes the scarecrow mission pack. The back of the scarecrow pack had two codes, one for the missions itself and the other for the exclusive skins. Instead of the Justice League 3000 and Adam West skins we were given the free New 52 skins. In addition, the Asian PSN shop lists the steelbook bundle as having those skins available. Also there was a YouTube trailer that told ps4 owners that the exclusive skins would be available to those who purchased, there was no indication that Asian Region players would get the short end of the “skin stick”."
The gamer then complained only to get a baffling and blatantly false response by WB Games.
"Thank you for your patience with us. Unfortunately after much investigation it seems that the extra skins were never offered with the Asian version of Batman: Arkham Knight PS4. It is with much regret that there is no code we can offer you to add those particular skins to your game.We sincerely appreciate your feedback, and we hope that this outcome will not detract from your enjoyment of the game. Thank you, Julie X. WB Games Support"
Honestly, that’s a complete ripoff. At the very least that’s false advertisement, followed by an easily disprovable denial.

It seems as though this game has been mishandled on so many levels that we should expect some new controversy every other day. Maybe we should takes bets on what’ll go wrong next.
