DC Teams Up With Looney Tunes In October

Warner Bros. has both the characters of DC & Looney Tunes under their belt, so it makes sense that on occasion they would combine these two hugely popular brands. And they are doing exactly that this November with Looney Tunes-themed variant covers for 25 of their current titles, including plenty of Bat-books!

These covers feature lots of familiar Looney Tunes characters such as Bugs Bunny Daffy Duck, Sylvester, Tweety and so on. In some covers they are posing as famous DC characters and in others they are interacting with them. Some of them are pretty amusing, but I feel a few are a miss. Like the Sylvester & Tweety Batman/Superman #26 variant. Tweety has nothing on him that resembles Batman whatsoever so it’s not completely clear he’s supposed to be Batman. Could they not have given him a costume or at least have him holding a Batarang or something? And I’m just not a fan of the art style being used for the New Suicide Squad #14 Variannt cover. But overall these Looney Tunes covers are very well done and are probably worth picking up if you can in November. Check out a few of the covers below and the full gallery here:
