The website Disney Casting has what looks to be the details for people looking to snag either “new lead roles or supporting roles” in the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel, which is due in theaters on May 5, 2017. Alas, the only way most of us would have a chance to participate is as an extra, and the casting call for those spots has not gone out yet.
Unless you really are a recognizable actor looking to get in on James Gunn’s next project, the information that might interest you the most concerns the actual film shoot. It’s said to be starting in February 15, 2016 and run through August 15, 2016 and take place at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, along with “various outdoor locations.” That’s the same formula used by the currently in production Captain America: Civil War, which also started its shoot at Pinewood before setting off for other locales.
There you have it folks, exactly where you need to send your resume and head shot and when you’ll need to be available to be in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Good luck, and don’t forget bam Smack Pow once you get famous!
