See All The People Batman Has Killed In The Movies In 3 1/2 Minutes
By Nick Tylwalk
Everyone knows that Batman doesn’t kill. He’s on a never-ending mission to prevent the loss of life in Gotham City and elsewhere, and even though some fans feel he’d be justified to make that quest easier by taking the lives of some of his villains to save the lives of innocents, he never goes down that path.

Except when he does. The Golden Age Batman didn’t have quite the same code of conduct in the comics when he first appeared, acting almost flippant at times about the fate of the villains he fought (he also didn’t have the strenuous objection to guns that the Bruce Wayne we know has, but that’s a topic for another time). In the various Batman movies, too, you’ve probably noticed that some of the people who tangle with the Dark Knight probably don’t make it home at the end of the night.
YouTuber Mr Sunday Movies certainly recognizes that fact, especially since he already made a video laying out how many people met their deaths at the hands of Batman in the comics. Hilariously, his 3/12 video is framed as if its a review by Michael Keaton’s Bruce Wayne of Batman’s kill count, and while it goes through the movies in chronological order for the most part, there’s an extra special surprise at the end that I don’t want to spoil.
I will say that once the Christian Bale Bruce became Batman in earnest, he does a little better than his predecessors. Also George Clooney’s hands appear to be clean. For everyone else … well, just watch the video and see for yourself.
