This is DC Films (Almost) Complete Movie Slate
By Skip Harvey
During a shareholder’s meeting the WB brass revealed the complete slate of their superhero films for the next few years.
Well, almost complete. Here’s the line-up:
- Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice – 03/25/16
- Suicide Squad – 08/05/16
- Wonder Woman – 06/23/17
- Justice League Part One – 11/17/17
- The Flash – 03/23/18
- Aquaman – 07/27/18
- Shazam – 04/05/19
- Justice League Part Two – 06/14/19
- Cyborg – 04/03/20
- Green Lantern – 06/19/20
Some people on the interwebs have noted the lack of Superman and Batman solo films on the slate and speculated that they might have been dropped. In all likelihood it’s simply a matter of hammering out details and figuring out how to fit them into their box office strategy. We know DC wants more Batman films and we’ve heard rumors of George Miller taking over the reigns of Man of Steel 2, so I doubt either franchises have been omitted from their plans.
