Tom Hardy Wants to Take on Batman and Superman

Though he was almost Suicide Squad’s Rick Flagg and will star in the Vertigo adaptation 100 Bullets, Tom Hardy is best known for playing Bane in The Dark Knight Rises. Especially for the voice.

In a recent interview Hardy was asked about a possible return to the DC Cinematic universe and, despite rumors to the contrary, he loves the idea. What would his dream role be? Why, Bane, of course.

"Of course! I’m Bane! Somebody asked me, ‘Who would I want to win out in a fight between Superman and Batman?’ And I would like to hold the pair of them under the water until the bubbles stop.”"

THAT would be something to see. Considering the recent rumors that Mad Max: Fury Road director George Miller may direct a Man of Steel sequel, you may see Hardy in the DCU after all. Who knows?
