Deadpool: He’s Trying To Connect
By Steve Lam
Even though Deadpool loves to crack jokes and make fun of his enemies — after all, he isn’t called the Merc with a Mouth for being quiet — he isn’t above keeping an open mind. In the latest tweet from star Ryan Reynolds, we see Deadpool humorously trying to acquire some empathy for his new friend — Negasonic Teenage Warhead.
Since making its trailer debut and eventual leak onto the internet, Deadpool has been one of the most highly anticipated films.
Official Synopsis: Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
Deadpool will be released on February 12, 2016. The film will be directed by Blur Films visual effects veteran Tim Miller, written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, and produced by Lauren Shuler Donner and X-Men: Days of Future Past screenwriter Simon Kinberg. The cast includes Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson / Deadpool, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Ed Skrein as Ridge, Morena Baccarin as Copycat, aka Vanessa Carlysle, and Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead.
