Avengers #0 Helps Launch Six Avengers Titles In October
By Nick Tylwalk
Being one of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes might be an honor, but it’s certainly not an exclusive honor. By that I mean that nearly every Marvel super hero worth his or her salt has been in the Avengers at one point or another, and when the Marvel Universe relaunches following Secret Wars, you’ll need a scorecard to keep track of all of the Avengers and related teams.

You know what would be even better than a scorecard? A comic book that sets the stage for All-New, All-Different Avengers, New Avengers, Uncanny Avengers, Ultimates, A-Force and Squadron Supreme. Lo and behold, that’s exactly what we’re getting on October 7, when Avengers #0 offers stories that explain exactly what all of these teams are are up to and how they differ in their approaches to keeping the Marvel Universe safe.
Writers Mark Waid, James Robinson, G. Willow Wilson, Al Ewing and Gerry Duggan are joined by artists Mahmud Asrar, Leonard Kirk, Gerardo Sandoval, Kenneth Rocafort, Ryan Stegman and Victor Ibanez for the six introductory tales, held together by an intriguing framing device. Someone is carefully watching and tracking the different Avengers squads, and they could be friend or foe.
The only way to find out is to pick up Avengers #0 in just a few weeks. Keep scrolling down for preview pages and a gorgeous wraparound variant cover by Art Adams, and if you didn’t get your Avengers invitation by now, I don’t know what to tell you.
