Marvel Cinematic Universe Movies Ranked By Domestic Box Office Revenue
By Nick Tylwalk
Here at Bam Smack Pow, we’d never suggest that there’s a direct correlation between the quality of a super hero movie and the amount of money that it makes. However there is something to be said for a film’s box office take and its popularity with fans in many cases, and there’s something that’s just fun about tracking how much money movies make.

That’s especially true for the films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which have all ranged from modest to enormously successful to date. Not only is it interesting to track how they perform in general, but there’s also an intriguing element of competition among the MCU movies themselves.
With that in mind, we decided to create and keep an updated list of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies as ranked by their domestic box office revenue — a fairly easy task thanks to sites like Box Office Mojo. We’ll update it monthly while films on the list are still in active release, and less often when they’re not.
Since Phase Three of the MCU has more additions than ever before, that might not be often through 2020 and even beyond. Here are the rankings as they stand today.
Box office revenue totals current as of September 21, 2015.
