Batman: Arkham Knight Coming Back to PC

It’s been a long, harrowing road for Batman: Arkham Knight since its release.

The PC version – along with numerous problems with the PS version – was nearly a complete disaster. The game was essentially unplayable, leading to the WB Games pulling it from shelves. Now it seems our long national nightmare may finally be over.

In a statement last night we got word that the PC version will once again see the light of day.

"As many of you know, we released a major patch for Batman: Arkham Knight PC a few weeks ago. While there were significant performance improvements made to the game, the teams are continuing to work on the additional updates that were outlined in our previous post. We expect these updates to be ready at the end of October, at which time the PC version will be made available for purchase. In addition, support for all DLC that has been released for the console versions will be in place. Thanks again for your continued patience and support. We’ll be sure to update everyone as soon as the update is live.– Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment"

Their biggest mistake came when Rocksteady Studios outsourced the porting of the project to a Chicago based company that was notorious for spotty performance. WB Games had to step in and stop the bleeding themselves, working round the clock to fix their flagship work.
