DC Collectibles has just released a replica of the famous Batmobile from Batman: The Animated Series. The replica, sculpted by Jay Kushwara, was first announced when it made an appearance at the New York Toy Fair this past February. It is 24-inches long and is now on sale at ShopDCEntertainment.com for $99.95. The replica is designed to fit two action figures, it has two-wheel drive and rubber wheels, and it lights up. Action figures and batteries are not included.

This Batmobile gained a lot of its fame from the classic intro of the animated series, in which it is seen driven out the Batcave tunnel. Like many of the characters who appeared in B:TAS, the Batmobile was also redesigned for the following Timmverse shows The New Batman Adventures, Justice League, and Justice League Unlimited, but the original design from B:TAS is the one that has really stood the test of time.
The DC Entertainment YouTube channel published an unboxing video of their new product on Friday, in which Kevin Kiniry and Jim Fletcher highlight all of its features and show you how to properly put action figures and batteries into it. Some of the coolest things about this replica are the amount of detail that was included in the interior of it and how you can see your action figures illuminated through the shaded windows when the Batmobile lights are on. This replica is a steeper price than just the basic toy version of it would be, but it would make a gorgeous addition to the collection of any Bat-fan!
