Suicide Squad: Will Smith Is Looking Forward To ‘Meeting’ Jared Leto
You would expect Suicide Squad stars Will Smith & Jared Leto to know each other really well at this point, after all, they just wrapped a movie together. But Will Smith is claiming that the entire time on the set of Suicide Squad, he never met the “real” Jared Leto.

"I’ve never actually met Jared Leto. We worked together for 6 months and we’ve never exchanged a word outside of ‘Action!’ and ‘Cut!’ We’ve never said ‘Hello,’ we’ve never said ‘Good day.’ I’ve only ever spoken to him as Deadshot and him as the Joker. I literally have not met him yet. So, the first time I see him will be ‘Hey, Jared. What’s up?’ Not a single word exchanged off camera. He was all in on the Joker… I’m looking forward to meeting him.”"
This fits with numerous reports of Leto going completely method for Sucide Squad and staying in character the entire time the film was being shot. Will it result in a memorable performance? Let’s hope. We’ll find out for sure when Suicide Squad opens August 5th.
