The Dark Knight prequel comic will come out in February written by Frank Miller with art by John Romita Jr. DC Comics Co-Publisher Dan DiDio talked about the prequel comic at “Heroes To The Core” panel, “Dark Knight III: The Master Race”:

"So what John’s going to be doing is a 48-page special for February celebrating the 30th anniversary of ‘The Dark Knight,’ which is actually a prequel for ‘The Dark Knight’ book, and then we have plans for John following that."

The prequel comic will come out in February when Dark Knight III takes a break after it’s first three issues are released. Stay tuned for all the latest Bat-worthy news out of this weekend’s New York Comic Con!
