NYCC 2015: More Details On DC Superhero Girls
DC Superhero Girls is great initiative by DC creating a whole line of products aimed at getting young girls excited about comic super heroines from animated shorts to clothing and toys. There was a very popular standing room only panel for DC Superhero Girls at this year’s New York City Comic Con, and we got some more details about this long overdue initiative.

First, you can see the initial wave of DC Superhero Girls figures in the featured image above. It includes Batman favorites such as Batgirl, Poison Ivy & Harley Quinn along with Wonder Woman, Super Girl and Cheetah. These design of these figures is meant to focus more on the girls athleticism than the usual sexuality you see focused on in female superheroes. The figures are due for release sometime this coming Spring.
