NYCC 2015: Watch Clips of the Justice League Reunion Panel
At New York Comic Con last weekend, the voice actors of the founding Justice League members (except for Michael Rosenbaum, voice of The Flash) and casting and voice director Andrea Romano from the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited TV series participated in a reunion panel. Justice League Unlimited was the final series of The Timmverse to air on TV, and it was to many people an epic culmination of that universe. The panel coincided with reports that have been surfacing of a new Justice League series set to premiere next fall, however nothing was made official at NYCC regarding that series. NerdsOnTheRocks.com was able to get some video footage of the panel.
The first video features the panelists being introduced while the theme songs from both Justice League and Justice League Unlimited played. The moderator announced each actor as their respective hero to huge rounds of applause from the audience.
From the article on NerdsOnTheRocks.com written by Earl Rufus:
"Questions ranged from the romance that budded on the show between Wonder Woman and Batman, how Lumbly found his voice for the Manhunter in his own background and upbringing, how they felt about getting the role, the pressure and stress Andrea felt in casting such iconic roles and much more."
Sounds pretty Bat-tastic! But the real highlight of the panel is what appears in the second of the two videos: the actors voicing live scenes from Justice League. On video we have Kevin Conroy and Susan Eisenberg (Batman and Wonder Woman) voicing a scene from “This Little Piggy”. Batman and Wonder Woman are discussing their relationship (or lack thereof it). Well, this served to make me really wish I could’ve been there at NYCC, but just from the videos, it was wonderful to see (and hear) the cast back together again. Who knows who we might hear reprising their roles on the upcoming Justice League show?
