Find Out Who’s Dead No More On Free Comic Book Day
By Nick Tylwalk
Marvel already revealed one of its Free Comic Book Day offerings for 2016, a book that will feature the kickoff to Civil War II and introduce readers to the All-New Wasp, a character whose arrival was heralded by a mysterious teaser earlier this month. Today, the company revealed that its other recent teaser, Dead No More,” will be one of the draws for a second Free Comic Book Day issue.
That one is called FCBD Captain America #1, and will be headlined by a “reinvigorated” Steve Rogers returning to the role of Captain America. His story will be written by Nick Spencer with art by Jesus Saiz, the same creative team that will run with the character in the upcoming Captain America: Steve Rogers series.

Yet the really interesting part is the back-up story, which Marvel says will be a prelude to the “Dead No More” storyline due out later in 2016. Both the writer and artist are being kept secret for now, as is, of course, the character who might be coming back from the grave.
Our initial guess was that it was Wolverine who would be restored to life, and if Los Vegas was placing odds on such things, he’d undoubtedly be the favorite. Now, though, it sounds like it will be more than one person who gets to live again, at least according to the following blurb from Marvel:
"If you got a chance to bring back someone who died, would you? And how will CLASSIFIED deal when ones they thought long dead once again walk the earth? Find out on FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!"

All that needs is an old-fashioned Stan Lee “Excelsior!” Be sure to pick up FCBD Captain America #1 on Saturday, May 7, and if your LCS is a cool one like mine, it will let you pick up the other Marvel issue and more free comics along with it.
