Couple Arrested For Sex During Batman v Superman Fined

The couple arrested for a sexual act during a screening of Batman v Superman have been fined for their actions

You may recall a couple of weeks ago that a couple was caught having sex during a screening of Batman v Superman, then arrested when they actually got into a fight with some of the theater staff. We have now learned that the couple arrested has been fined for their actions during the Batman v Superman screening, along with a few more details of the incident (please note while not extremely graphic or anything, this might be considered slightly not safe for work).

The couple (I’ll withhold the names, but you can find them in the link at the bottom of the story if you are interested) was seen by witnesses “bobbing up and down” during Batman v Superman and eventually having sex in their seats. Police were called and the couple was arrested and fined the following day to the tune of roughly $150 U.S. dollars.

After passing the sentence, the judge had this to say about the couple’s actions:

"[The couple’s] actions were disgraceful. This is a public place and its fortunate that there weren’t that many people in the cinema and there were no children present."

There were reportedly only 6 other people in the theater. Cue picture of sad Ben Affleck. The lawyer for the couple claimed the reason for their actions during the Batman v Superman showing was because they supposedly don’t have anywhere they can spend time together. It seems like having sex in any public venue would’ve been a poor way to compensate for that frankly. You’re telling me there wasn’t a hotel or motel room they could rent out for a night? Might’ve been cheaper and certainly less humilating.
