A new DC digital service will launch in 2018 with two shows: Titans and Young Justice: Outsiders.

With all the comic book shows currently on television and in the works, the creation of a dedicated channel was inevitable. Via Deadline, we have news that Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment will be launching a new digital streaming service in 2018. Helping to inaugurate this new effort will be two shows—the live-action Titans and the animated Young Justice: Oustiders.

Let’s start with Titans. This show seemed like it would never happen. Even though TNT made a pilot order over a year ago, the network pulled the plug on the show due to a shift in priorities. Fans can now rejoice with the show’s resurrection under DC’s new digital initiative.

More from TV

Greg Berlanti, the famed producer who conceived and brought to life The CW’s DC television universe will be heading up the project. He’ll also be teamed up with some heavy-hitters—writer Akiva Goldsman, DC bigwig Geoff Johns, and The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow producer Sarah Schechter. The show’s casting and release date are currently unknown.

Next, we have Young Justice: Outsiders—the long awaited third season of Young Justice. The show aired on the Cartoon Network for two seasons (2010–2013). Ever since then, fans have petitioned Warner Bros. to revive the show.

Both DC Entertainment Co-Publisher Dan DiDio and actress Danica McKellar (the voice of Miss Martian) motivated fans to keep voicing their love. Late last year, that fan-driven movement paid off with the announcement of a Season 3 headed for Netflix. Currently, Young Justice: Outsiders is already in production.

With today’s news, it seems Warner Bros. wants to keep it all in the family. With both Titans and Young Justice: Outsiders premiering on the new digital platform, Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment are almost guaranteeing a huge, dedicated fan base at launch.
