Dragon Ball Super’s Episode 93 preview shows Frieza and the introduction of the Legendary Super Saiyan form.

The “Universal Survival” saga is certainly heating up and it seems Episode 93 will be the saga’s peak. Ever since the announcement stating Frieza’s return, we’ve been eagerly waiting for the episode. Now we are closer than ever to witnessing the much-anticipated episode.

Episode 93’s synopsis tells us that Goku will visit Frieza in Hell. This will be an intriguing encounter, considering Goku was the one who sent him to Hell. And for those wondering how Goku will visit Hell, we learned that he will ask Fortune-teller Baba for some assistance.

If you’re unfamiliar with Baba, she was a key character in Dragon Ball, but has yet to make a mark in Dragon Ball Super. We learned in Dragon Ball that she is the sister of Master Roshi. So Goku and Baba have some history which will be revisited in this episode.

The episode will also feature Kale reaching her full potential. In Episode 92, we saw the first ever female Super Saiyan—Caulifla. And now, Caulifla urges Kale to transform into a Super Saiyan. What emerges amazes both Cabba and Caulifla. Episode 93’s preview shows us a glimpse of what is to come.

Did we just see the Legendary Super Saiyan form? After months of speculation, we’re finally going to see the Legendary Super Saiyan form become canon. The form originally belonged to Broly, where we first saw it in the non-canon movie Dragon Ball Z: Broly – The Legendary Super Saiyan. And now Kale will take on that form.

We can also see an intense conversation between Frieza and Goku. One interesting point to make is we see Frieza in his Golden form. Perhaps this could indicate that Frieza and Goku will square off—and we know Goku will have to do a lot to convince Frieza.

Can Goku convince Frieza? How will Frieza respond? With the introduction of the Legendary Super Saiyan form, this episode is definitely a must-see.
