Hannah John-Kamen joins Ant-Man and the Wasp in key role

Hannah John-Kamen has reportedly been added to the cast of the Ant-Man sequel.

So far, the only casting developments we’ve had on Ant-Man and the Wasp have been the announcement of returning stars Michael Pena and Tip “T.I.” Harris. Now, it looks like the MCU sequel has its first new cast member.

Variety is reporting that actress Hannah John-Kamen has been cast in the film in a key role. According to the trade, Marvel Studios had been meeting with actresses about the part for the past month. The studio has made no comment on the casting.

John-Kamen is best known for her roles in shows like Game of ThronesKilljoys, and Black Mirror. She has also appeared in films like Star Wars: The Force Awakens and will star in the Tomb Raider reboot and Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One.

Details on her role and the story as a whole have yet to be revealed. Peyton Reed and Kevin Feige will return to direct and produce, respectively, while the screenplay is being written by co-lead Paul Rudd and Gabriel Ferrari.
