The recent episode of Dragon Ball Super saw all the competitors arrive at the World of Void. With everything set, all that remains is for the tournament to begin. And episode 97 will carry out that promise. We learned from the episode synopsis that each warrior is lined up and ready to fight. The Omni-Kings are ready to begin the tournament—which will be an all-out war. The episode preview provides a glimpse of what is to come.
What we can see from the episode preview is utter carnage. It’s also a good sign that the Omni-Kings are shocked to see what is in front of them. Analyzing the preview, we see Toppo fighting Universe 9’s warriors—who do not play by the rules. So it’s only fitting for Toppo to hand out some justice on them.

Perhaps the biggest standout from the preview is the potential showdown between Goku and Jiren. Goku hints that he will begin the tournament at full power (granted we never see him in the Super Saiyan Blue form). He then notices Jiren standing on his own. Knowing Goku’s personality, it’s a guarantee that he will want to confront Jiren. What will the outcome be? We hope to find out in this episode.
Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 pm. CST.
