DCEU has the heroes for these diverse movie genres

Space Adventure – Green Lantern and Lobo

After what happened back in 2011 with the movie that almost ended Ryan Reynolds career, DC owed it to themselves to give Green Lantern another go — and they will. There is speculation that a member of the Green Lantern Corps will appear in Justice League, but that remains to be seen. Still, it was announced back in January of this year that DC would once again allow the intergalactic police force to rise again. In fact, DC will double dip in the Green Lantern pool by allegedly reintroducing Hal Jordan and giving way for John Stewart’s big screen debut in what has been described as a “Lethal Weapon in space.”

Lobo is another DC character who could give the DCEU their version of a Deadpool film, in space. The foul mouth superpowered intergalactic bounty hunter would make for a great space adventure. Lobo’s story is that of a lone survivor of an extinct race known as the Velorpian. After wrecking havoc up and down the universe, he finds himself helping those he once tormented. Unlike Green Lantern, there’s no sign of a Lobo movie happening anytime soon, but there’s still hope.
