1. Magneto

The Magneto we know from Universe 616 doesn’t kill innocent people. If you’re threatening him or other mutants, he’ll kill you and won’t think twice about it. But he has a moral code. Ultimate Magneto, on the other hand, doesn’t care about anything except his cause.

In the first comic book featuring Ultimate Magneto, his Brotherhood bombed Capitol Hill full of innocent people. Then, he went on TV and told the world that, “Man is a parasite upon human resources.” He then went on to say, “Naturally, our attacks upon your power bases will continue until you deliver this world to its rightful owners.” This Magneto was not a freedom fighter. He’s a terrorist with no regard for innocent people. But, to him, there is no such thing as an innocent human.

Ultimate Magneto spent his entire adult life under the belief that mutants were the next step in human evolution. He even went so far as to reverse the magnetic poles in the world. This caused extreme climate change and natural disasters across the globe. Everything from volcanos to flash freezes to floods killed millions of people all over the world. Humans and mutants were all killed in the chaos Magneto caused. This was one of the single most evil things I’ve seen in a comic. Ultimate Magneto only cared about the mutants who followed him. And even then, he’d Leave them to die if he had to. The coup de grace was when he killed Xavier with his bare hands.

Once humanity discovered that a mutant was responsible for the death of millions of people, there was no turning back. Mutants were rounded up and put into camps.
