4. Nick Jonas — Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle

The former Jonas Brother band member is a former Disney star mostly known for his roles in Camp Rock and Scream Queens. However, while he won’t be confused with Denzel Washington, the young actor has been breaking away from the Disney stigma that usually follows child actors. Look no further than his latest role as Alex in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. While his role was more of a supporting one, he did his job very well. He was charismatic and stood out amongst a cast oozing talent alongside Karen Gillan, Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart and Jack Black. The big budget action-packed adventure was a big notch in his acting belt, but it wasn’t the only time he showed that he was a talented up and coming actor.

At 25, and the looks of a teenager, Jonas is the perfect age to play teenage sidekick looking to make it in the world on his own. In Jumanji, he proved his star power, but in the series Kingdom, Jonas showed off another side. As Nate, he played an MMA fighter who is struggling with hiding the fact that he’s gay. The scene was emotionally charged and Jonas showed he was ready for so much more. As Bret in Goat, Jonas once again proved h Having him play Nightwing would check most of the boxes McKay’s looking for in Dick Grayson.
