2. Dacre Montgomery — Power Rangers
At the youthful age of 23, Dacre Montgomery fits the age criteria and looks for the role of Dick Grayson. Montgomery isn’t a big name by any means, but he really has the potential to be one. As Jason the Red Ranger in the 2017 Power Rangers reboot, Montgomery showed flashes of what makes up a great Nightwing. As Jason, he was visibly troubled but always willing to stick up for the defenseless he was a leader and did show some badassery. In Better Watch Out, a horror thriller, he played the role of a boyfriend trying his best to save the woman he loved, unfortunately he was little end over his head. Still, he proved that he wasn’t just a one-trick pony.
In Stranger Things Season 2 saw a couple of new characters one of those being Montgomery’s douche character, Billy. Billy was so different from Jason, complete night and day. Billy the bully was a coward who prayed on the weak, but there was some depth o his character. Montgomery made us hate his character but his trouble at home that saw him being verbally and physically abused by his father. Montgomery’s ability to play Billy proved that he’s ready to be a star, and Chris McKay’s Nightwing is where it should happen.
