1. Green Lantern Corps

Thanks to Justice League, we now know that the Green Lantern Corp does exist. In fact, CBR revealed that the identity of the Green Lantern in Justice League was Yalan Gur.  Before Hamada’s DCEU introduction, there were rumors that a Green Lantern Corps film would be produced, the rumors started back in January of 2017. It was said that the upcoming film would be like a Lethal Weapon in space and would feature both John Stewart and Hal Jordan.

Green Lantern Corps is another film that would be perfect for DeKnight especially in the wake of Pacific Rim: Uprising. What the movie showed was ideally suited for what would undoubtedly take place in a Green Lantern film. A young hotshot looking to take the place or remove himself from the shadow of his predecessor. It was as visually satisfying as it was action packed something fans would want to see in an intergalactic action movie.

There are a number of DCEU films said to be in development, from Flashpoint to Nightwing. Additionally, the names of potential directors are endless. Still, when a director is passionate about a particular genre, in this case, DC, it’ll be nice if the studio could hire said director. DeKnight is apparently one of those directors, he’ll bring a sense of freshness much like the other DCECU directors. There’s an endless supply of DC material that Hamada can draw from, and with movies like Green Lantern, Birds of Prey, Black Adam, and more — DeKnight would be an excellent choice for either of them.
