30 greatest Deadpool moments in Marvel Comics

20. Weapon X Part 2
You’d figure that after everything Weapon X has done to people like Wolverine and to Deadpool, Wade would be smart enough to never trust them again. Unfortunately, Deadpool trusted them one more time. This time, they guaranteed it would be different.
The new director of Weapon X promised Deadpool everything he wanted and sealed the deal by upgrading Deadpool’s healing factor and giving him his un-scarred face and back. No more image inducers to hide his face. Wade could, as he put it, “go on a blind date without actually having to blind them.”
Everything seemed to be going great. New face, a ton of money, and a PlayStation 3 before it was even a thing, and a giant naked statue of himself. It wasn’t until Wade’s first mission that he realized the Weapon X hadn’t changed. Kane killed a kid on their first mission even though Deadpool calmed him down and made sure he was de-powered.
After the mission, Wade went straight to the director and was going to tell him he quit. That was until he told him that his next mission was to kill his ex-girlfriend, Vanessa. Wade only agreed to make sure he could get her away from Weapon X and save her life. It didn’t work out. Vanessa was killed by Sabretooth and died in Wade’s arms.
Wade went to get his revenge and while he took out most of Weapon X’s super people, he was killed. Deadpool’s body was blown apart. He didn’t die without giving them all the finger with his last bit of life.
