The only thing you need to know about Lady Shiva is that’s she’s a bad, bad woman. To many, she’s known as the deadliest assassin in all of DC Comics. She’s trained Tim Drake and Batman and she’s the mother of Cassandra Cain aka Batgirl No. 2. Nevertheless, before she became the baddest woman in DC, she was Sandra Woosan.
Her story is one of revenge, as she would seek justice for her slain sister. In order to defeat her sister’s alleged murderer, Richard Dragon, Sandra would have to train. From her first lesson it was clear Sandra was a prodigy.
She trained for years until the day came for her to murder her sister’s accused murder, but a hard truth was revealed. Dragon told Sandra that the main who really killed her sister was already dead. The news devastated her leaving her feeling empty. However, Dragon gave her purpose by offering her a chance to work with him in an effort she’d use her power for good.
A show could follow her as a hero uncovering a deeper problem that led to her sister’s murder, cliche but it works. With her adventures as a hero for hire, we’d get a unique feel for a show featuring a deadly assassin. She could even introduced fans to the Question when they inevitably cross paths. Arden Cho would be the perfect actress.
