DCEU’s Birds of Prey: 8 actresses who will diversify the heroines

There’s a chance that Cathy Yan could look to cast an unknown actress. Linsey Morgan hasn’t been in any major Hollywood blockbusters. However, she has played in arguably CW’s greatest series, The 100. Her character, Raven, shares some similarities to Barbara Gordon. For starters, she’s overcome a lot of trauma in route to becoming one of the show’s best characters. She witnessed her boyfriend’s murder and was withstood serve torture on multiple occasions. Raven started off as a genius mechanic who also excels at creating explosives.

Similarly to Barbara Gordon, Raven discovered her talents for hacking after being shot. Like, Oracle, Ravens intelligence reigned supreme and helped save the world and her people more than once. Additionally, she has a tough exterior that allows to make the tough calls.

In the movie, Beyond Skyline Morgan played another character with leadership qualities. As the adult version of Rose, Morgan’s character was the leader of the resistance who lead a team to the moon in an effort to destroy alien inhabitants. Furthermore, Morgan is half Irish and half Mexican so Jim Gordon’s nationality doesn’t have to change a bit. Morgan is a talented actress who’s excel in a starring role as Barbra Gordon.
