2. There are other Harley Quinn movies in the works

Robbie expressed that Harley needs friends and she’s right. So, why not give her a Gotham City Sirens movie? When the DCEU announced that Harley Quinn would receive her own spinoff, the first thought was Gotham City Sirens. As of now, that idea has been scrapped. Instead, fans are gifted with a Cathy Yan Birds of Prey film. However, there’s still a chance that we can get Harley Quinn teaming with Catwoman and Poison Ivy. First, there are the rumors that suggest Harley Quinn would feature in multiple DCEU films. Including a Joker Harley Quinn love story.

While that isn’t a good one, it can work if Harley and Joker are at odds. Insert Poison Ivy and you have a story based on Batman: Mad Love. Furthermore, the final events of Mad Love cultivated with a Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn friendship. Mad Love would directly lead to a Gotham City Sirens movie. In the meantime, Harley can continue to be a villain and BoP is an ideal movie for that to happen. In fact, if she is a villain, the end of Birds of Prey could directly set up for a Suicide Squad sequel
