Lana Condor – Cassandra Cain

Cassandra Cain trained as an assassin since birth. Cassandra is an exceptionally skilled fighter thanks to special abilities inherited by her mother, Lady Shiva, and the training from her assassin father, David Cain.

Cassandra Cain abandoned her duties when she ran away after making her first kill. At eight years old, the illiterate, nearly mute Cassandra wondered the world afraid of who she was. Until one day when she met Barbara Gordon who helped her find a new meaning. Under Gordon’s guidance Cassandra would learn to read and write, eventually, she’d take up the Batgirl mantle.

There’s no way to tell how old the DCEU’s version of Cassandra Cain will be. In the comics, when she was first taken in by Barbara Gordon she was between 17-18. Lana Condor is just 21, and she has the look to depict a teenage Cain in a Birds of Prey. Candor isn’t a stranger to comic book movies — she played Jubilee in X-Men Apocalypse. Although, if you blinked you probably missed it. However, she’ll front and center in the Will Smith-produced film, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. She’ll also feature in the upcoming action film Alita: Battle Angel with another actress in our list.
