7. Adelaide Kane

Matt Reeves could look to cast a TV actress in the role of Selina Kyle. While Adelaide Kane is a talented as an actress who is still in search of that breakout role. Although she hasn’t been in any big-time blockbusters, Kane has starred in horror movies like; The Purge, The Devil’s Hand, and Blood Punch. So, the gritty setting and dark nature of Gotham city will feel like home to Kane. In The Purge, Kane played Zoey. Although the role doesn’t scream hero, Zoey displays a heroism when she kills an invading gang member.

In a more heroic and badass role, her character on MTV’s Teen Wolf is where it’s at. Kane played Cora Hale a werewolf who embraces the savageness of the beast she turns into. Hale is a fierce member of the most respected family on Teen Wolf. Kane moved on from Teen Wolf to star in the CW drama Reign as Mary, Queen of Scots. Mary was a ruler unwilling to adhere to traditions just for the sake of doing so. She was proactive and strong-willed much like Selina Kyle. Adelaide Kane may not have the cache of some of our other actions but there’s no doubt she’d make an excellent Selina Kyle.
