7. Kylie Bunbury

If Kylie Bunbury’s face looks familiar it’s because she’s been around TV and movies despite only being active since 2010. Bunbury has been reaching for that brass ring — ready to break through the glass ceiling into stardom. Bunbury has starred in series Twisted and Under the Dome before getting her own series Pitch.

Disappointingly, Pitch was prematurely canceled, but Bunbury was excellent as Ginny Baker, the first female to pitch in the majors. Ginny was strong, fierce and  Bunbury received rave reviews.  Bunbury isn’t just a breakout TV star, her role in Game Night, as Michelle proved her star can’t be dimmed despite the talented cast. There’s no doubt that Bunbury is the type of actress that’ll bring out the best qualities of Dinah Lance aka Black Canary.

6. Hannah John-Kamen

Hannah John-Kamen was known for her on the Syfy hit series, Killjoys. She plays a top-level RAC agent with a mysterious background. Her talents caught the eyes of Disney where she’d play a major role in a comic book movie. For Disney, John-Kamen is coming off a fantastic performance in Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp as Ava Starr aka Ghost. She received praise from critics for her role as the big bad.

John-Kamen also played F’Nale Zandor, as head of Innovative Online Industries. If she was good enough for a role in Marvel we don’t see why she wouldn’t be a good fit as Black Canary in the DCEU. If you want to hear her sing, just watch Black Mirror where she sings I Have a Dream.
